These terms apply to any use of PredictAsiaX ("PAX", "we", "us", "our") API endpoints — REST and WebSocket. Effective 2026-08-10.
sk_live_* or legacy pax_* prefix form. Tier flag on the key scopes capability across sandbox and production.sk_live_* key issued with tier=self_serve — same host as production, capped at $10 per-order and $100 daily notional, fills simulated at mid-price against live orderbook state (no real funds moved).By requesting or receiving a PAX API Key, by signing any request with a PAX HMAC pair, or by opening a WebSocket connection to a PAX endpoint, you (a) accept these API Terms; (b) confirm that you have read and agree to the general predictasiax.com/terms; and (c) represent and warrant that you have the legal authority to bind yourself, or the entity on whose behalf you are acting, to these Terms.
The API is not offered where prohibited. You represent and warrant that you are not a Prohibited Person. You may not use the API if you are:
Using a VPN, proxy, Tor, or any other tool to misrepresent your location for the purpose of circumventing this Section 3 is a material breach and grounds for immediate Key revocation and account termination without refund of any fees paid.
Access is granted per API Key. Each Key is tied to a single account. Sharing Keys, sub-licensing them, or transferring them to any third party is prohibited. You are responsible for all activity performed under Keys issued to you, including activity by anyone you allow to possess your secret or passphrase.
PAX may revoke, downgrade, rate-limit, or suspend any Key at any time — with or without notice — to protect service availability, prevent abuse, comply with law, complete an investigation, or enforce these Terms. Revocation propagates within 5 seconds cluster-wide. Revoked Keys return 401 KEY_REVOKED.
You may not, and may not attempt to, use the API to:
Automated Access is expressly permitted — the API is designed for it. However:

See example backoff code.Public market data (list of markets, orderbook snapshots, OHLCV candles, trade tape, aggregated volume statistics) is licensed to you on a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, worldwide basis for the term of these Terms. You may display, cache, transform, or redistribute it, provided:
Account data (your positions, orders, trades, balances) is yours and may be freely used.
Counterparty data (email, phone, wallet address, IP of other PAX users) is not returned by the API and must not be requested, inferred, or aggregated through any channel.
DELETE /v1/apps/{app_id}/keys/{key_id} (or rotate via POST /v1/apps/{app_id}/keys/{key_id}/rotate), or use the API Keys UI in Builder Portal — then mint a replacement;The API is provided on a best-effort basis. No uptime SLA applies to the standard tier. PAX may take the API offline for maintenance, incidents, or ops safety (including entering READ_ONLY_MODE) without prior notice. Partners on a signed post-GA agreement may negotiate a formal SLA; contact Request access.
PAX follows Semantic Versioning for the public API (see Changelog → policy). Breaking changes bump the major version and are announced at least 90 days in advance via the Changelog and the Deprecation/Sunset response headers (RFC 8594) on affected endpoints.
You are responsible for tracking deprecation notices and migrating within the notice window. Endpoints marked deprecated may be removed on the next MAJOR release without further notice.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. PAX DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PAX IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, TRADING LOSSES, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES — WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
PAX'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID TO PAX IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 100.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them (including their formation, existence, validity, breach, or termination) are governed by, and shall be construed in accordance with, the laws of the British Virgin Islands, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
13.1 Good-faith resolution. Before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to contact Request access and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute for a period of at least thirty (30) days. Most disputes are resolved at this stage.
13.2 Binding arbitration. If the parties cannot resolve a dispute under Section 13.1, the dispute shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre ("SIAC") in accordance with the SIAC Arbitration Rules then in force, which rules are deemed incorporated by reference into this Section.
13.3 Seat, language, tribunal. The seat of the arbitration shall be Singapore. The language of the arbitration shall be English. The tribunal shall consist of a single arbitrator appointed in accordance with the SIAC Rules.
13.4 Individual proceedings only. You and PAX agree that arbitration shall be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. The arbitrator has no authority to consolidate the claims of more than one party. If any portion of this Section 13.4 is found unenforceable, the entire Section 13 shall be null and void.
13.5 Injunctive relief. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights or confidential information pending the outcome of arbitration.
13.6 Fees and awards. Each party shall bear its own legal fees and expenses. The tribunal's award shall be final and binding, and judgment upon the award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. Upon termination: (a) your Keys are revoked; (b) your right to use the Services ends; (c) Sections 7 (Data license), 8 (Security), 11 (Warranty & liability), 12 (Governing law), 13 (Dispute resolution), and this Section 14 survive.
PAX may update these API Terms. Material changes will be announced via the Changelog and dated at the top of this page. Continued use of the API after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with an update, you must stop using the API and revoke your Keys.
